Human Touch & Haig Yazdjian 

Human Touch is a cutting-edge instrumental trio from Athens, blending the rich influences of their Greek, Irish, American, and Cypriot heritage into a distinctive fusion of global soul. They’ve shared the stage with renowned artists such as Arturo Sandoval, Trilok Gurtu, Billy Cobham, Arild Andersen, Milcho Leviev, Davy Spillane, Peter Erskine, Lars Danielsson, The Temptations, Barry White, and The Camerata String Orchestra.

Their performances at international jazz and world music festivals across Europe, Turkey, and the Balkans have made a lasting impact, inspiring generations of musicians in Greece. Known for their unique multi-instrumental style, Human Touch create a captivating visual and sonic experience, showcasing a boundless spectrum of rhythm, color and emotional depth.  It’s no surprise they’ve earned the reputation as “The Best Kept Musical Secret in the Balkans.” Their new album, COLORBLIND, is set for release in November 2024.

Haig Yazdjian was born in Syria to Armenian parents and has emigrated to Greece in the early 80’s. A highly esteemed artist, he is a self-taught oud player, composer, and performer, recognized not only in Greece but worldwide.  Haig Yazdjian conveys the experience of exile through his warm voice, serving as a timeless ambassador of profound emotions. One of the driving forces in the Greek world-jazz music scene his career took off when many Greek artists sought to infuse an “ethnic” flavor into their work and turned to him for collaboration. He has performed at numerous venues in Greece and worked with major Greek and international artists. He has also participated in concerts around the world with renowned soloists and, in 2006, joined Loreena McKennitt on her European tour.
