The Band will perform original songs composed by Sarah Fenwick and guitarist Marinos Neofytou from their albums ‘Jazz Way’ and ‘Jazz Origins’. The compositions range across genres which are the roots of jazz, such as Latin grooves, Lullabies, the Blues, Ballads and Ethnic.
They reference jazz themes, nostalgia, and cross-cultural inspirations. The songs are a celebration of the wide-ranging influences that can be found in jazz. An addictive waterfall of emotions captured in music. One of the songs, Billie’s Blue, was translated into Greek and was the theme song of the Sigma TV series ‘Krifos Kaiadas’, showing the versatility of the compositions.
